Part Time Weekend RN Supervisor - Evening Shift

This position is accountable for the oversight of care and customer service delivered. This role will manage house supervision of Long Term Care and Short Term Rehab.

How to make an impact:

  • Managing daily operations effectively to successfully exchange shift duties to next supervisor.


  • Oversee the functions of the unit and that they are operating efficiently


  • Supervise Nursing units based on the polices, procedure, objectives and standards of the department and organization


  • Accountable for the delivery of excellent customer service throughout the house and increase customer satisfaction


  • Ensure guidance and implementation of unit goals


  • Assist in addressing all patient’s, resident’s, and family’s clinical and customer service issues


  • As needed, assist with daily function of units to ensure effectiveness of unit operation


  • Manage calls to on call physician for clinical concerns, labs, and unusual events. Follow up on orders given


  • Initiate and Ensure investigations are completed on any concerning clinical events, assist nurse as needed


  • Perform observations, audits, and reporting to ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulations


  • Manage intervention where necessary in regards to staff compliance of skill competency (i.e. training and education on skill sets)

Job Requirements

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • An Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, and 2 years related SNF and LTC experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Valid Florida RN and CPR
  • At least 1 year of related leadership experience in a similar environment.
  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working with EMR
  • Ability to work the weekend and evening shift
