Be part of our PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Program with sites in West Palm Beach and Delray Beach. PACE is a managed care plan for seniors age 55 and older who are nursing home-eligible, but prefer to remain at home with healthcare and related services.

 Activities Assistant Coordinator


In this role, you will be provide direction to the activities team while ensuring programs support cognitive, social, physical, and emotional skills as well as assist with coordination of activities, nutrition, and personal care under the direction of the center coordinator.


How to make an impact:


  • Client Care: Listens and responds to concerns and questions. Completes all necessary and appropriate care, including toileting. Reports all concerns and changes to appropriate nursing staff.
  • Activities: Implements processes for floor staff and ensures the team is trained on PACE processes and procedure related to participant activity planning and in care plan sessions. Assists client with appropriate activities by alternating between periods of strenuous activity and periods of rest or light activities to avoid overstimulation and/or fatigue. Follows infection control guidelines per policies and procedures.
  • Professionalism: Involves maintaining a neat and clean appearance, the willingness to learn new concepts, accepting accountability for job performance, the ability to manage time effectively, and promoting compassion and understanding for the clients’ needs/wants.
  • Communications and Customer Service: Involves speaking with client, families and staff; with tact, diplomacy, and strong listening skills.


Job Requirements


What you’ll bring to the table:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 1 year experience working with the frail and elderly.
