Human Resources Clerk

In this role you will, assist in coordinating and participating in food production and service, by preparing quality kosher meals, according to menus and recipes. 

How to make an impact:

  • Supports the Human Resources team overall administrative support
  • Manages new hire process and monthly reports associated with onboarding  

  • Maintains new hire packets and new hire processing worksheet for organization to reflect current information at all times.

  • Provides reporting and analysis on various candidate processing inquiries daily and as requested.

  • Maintains knowledge of candidate new hire requirements specific to assigned business entities.

  • Tracks candidate status from start to finish and ensures compliant hire within 14 days of offer extended date; exceptions due to hiring needs may apply .  Works with HR Generalists and teams to ensure compliance.

  • Maintains new hire processing spreadsheet to ensure accuracy for processing and hire. Performs audits as necessary to ensure 100% accuracy.

  • Notifies appropriate candidates immediately of required processing actions to be taken regarding background screens, medical paperwork, and required certification(s) completion. 

  • Ensures candidate attendance to interviews, processing appointments and orientations within the designated period. Follows up with hired/rejected candidates on an on-going basis with updated status.

  • Provides customer service by addressing candidate processing and new hire questions/requests.

  • Assists Human Resources team with various new hire processing and personnel file projects.

  • Maintenance of monthly requisition status and updates

  • Responsible for record keeping and file maintenance for onboarding personnel; run weekly candidate processing reporting and/or as needed.

  • Assists with facilitation of with recruitment and hiring events

  • Oversees the maintenance of employee information and files.

  • Runs file audits as needed to ensure compliance.

  • Runs monthly new hire and candidate processing reports and/or as needed.

  • Duties to include answering phones, faxing, emailing, filing, coping and other office duties

  • Processes verification of employment and references as needed, accountable for all follow up and completion

  • Manages employee requests and traffic in office.


Job Requirements

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; and/or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to memorize and respond appropriately to specific emergency codes and procedures
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
