Clinical Nurse Manager (RN), PACE Program

In this role, you will shape and interpret the philosophy and definition of nursing as it relates to short and long-term planning, program development, resource and budget management, quality assurance and systems utilization.

How to make an impact:     

Staff Management

  • Supervise staff and patient care delivery.
  • Interview qualified potential staff and select in accordance to MorseLife policies and practices.
  • Counsel staff in accordance to MorseLife policies and practices.
  • Review and conduct employees’ probationary and annual performance evaluations.
  • Supervise patient care delivery and staff assignments consistent with patient care requirements.

Educational Management

  • Ensures both staff and own personal and professional development.
  • Provides professional growth and development of staff through identification of needs, encouraging education efforts and evaluation of same.
  • Attendance at mandatory programs and meetings is facilitated and monitored.
  • Keeps abreast of current administrative and clinical trends and technology.
  • Participates in research activities relative to nursing practice and patient care.


  • Evaluates compliance with established standards, reviews results of activities and takes appropriate action.
  • All Local, State and Federal regulations and PACE standards, audit preparation and compliance are met for areas of responsibility.
  • Compliance with medical record documentation is assured.
  • Policies, procedures and programs are implemented and monitored for compliance with Federal and State regulations.

Center Management

  • Participate in Quality Management Program and risk management activities.
  • Monthly quality indicator reports are monitored and specific findings, conclusions, actions, recommendations and follow-up activities are assured and reported.

Job Requirements

What you’ll bring to the table:


  • Registered Nurse Degree. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • One current year of experience working with seniors
  • Bi-lingual (preferred)
  • Five years progressive experience in clinical positions.
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to use communication problem-solving and management skills to influence staff utilization and motivation, public relations, and inter and intra departmental relations.
  • Demonstrates a caring attitude toward participants, family members, employees and guests.


  • Current RN License in the State of Florida
  • BLS/CPR Certification
