How to make an impact:

  • Cleaning occupied resident rooms and unoccupied apartments, to include vacuuming and mopping; maintaining resident kitchens, bathrooms and balconies; and cleaning fixtures, baseboards, mirrors and windows
  • Cleaning rugs and carpets
  • Dusting furniture, woodwork, sills and door panels
  • Emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash to disposal area
  • Disinfecting equipment and supplies and keeping utility and storage areas clean and organized
  • Maintaining cleaning equipment in proper working condition and reporting on equipment or furniture in need of repair

Job Requirements

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to follow all safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to read and follow all task lists provided by supervisor or residents
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as needed
  • Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills
