Job Description

Desktop Analyst

Primary responsibilities will include support of Windows PC’s, printers, scanners and basic network computing devices and perform repairs, diagnosis, maintenance, and upgrades.

How to make an impact:

  • Work in Healthcare Computer Support Environment.
  • Provides technical services that involve troubleshooting and maintenance of computing devices, printers, smart phones, tablets, laptops, mobile computing, or other related technology and software.
  • Supports the IT team with coordinating technical resource to complete projects and day to day operations.
  • Assist users in solving problems using available hardware and software tools.
  • Supports, installs, and maintains personal computers on local area networks.
  • Installs and supports both hardware and software components for users.
  • Performs preventive maintenance, test and repair of equipment.
  • Addresses and resolves hardware, software and customer issues.
  • Provides positive customer experience with each customer interaction.
  • Must be extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Applications and have strength to resolve complex technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.
  • Troubleshoot and collaborate with other departments to assist with infrastructure related issues
  • Document customer interactions in incident management system including asset management
  • Provide support for off-site and on-site events as needed.
  • Needs to be available for on-call duty when necessary.

Job Requirements

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Associate degree, High School diploma or Vocational Trade School certification in computer science, information sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the support and maintenance of desktop technology. Health care setting preferred.
  • Intermediate level experience and knowledge in troubleshooting: Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Demonstrated track record of working effectively in a collaborative, cohesive and team based environment.
  • Extremely strong written communication skills with the ability to communicate to non-technical personnel.
  • Must interact with numerous computer platforms in a multilayered client server environment.
